I have to get serious about my theses. So I'm quitting LJ for a while.

Question:

Jason was going to stay with a friend on his way up to visit me in Boston, and they were going to drive up together, where she was to be staying with a friend and flying back on the 29th (which is when we leave too).
Her friend has fallen ill, and she wants to stay with our family until the 29th.
We do not have a lot of space. We have five rooms, and there are already going to be six people staying here.
Am I being unreasonable in saying no?

honors thesis questions

 HELLO LOVELY HOLLINS PEOPLE

I am currently writing an honors thesis in political science on how Hollins residential life impacts political socialization, with specific attention to queer issues.

If you would be interested in answering some open-ended questions about your political life before and during Hollins, it would be really, really helpful. I am most interested in seniors and those with conservative political orientations.

I can't offer any prizes, but you will get kudos in the final version of my thesis (if you so wish).

Email me at rmccarthyjames@gmail.com or just reply here and I'll get in touch.

THANKS!

is this postmodern?

"It has long been apparent that perception of an external phenomenon is largely determined by the frame of reference - the supplied context - within which it is percieved. Both perception and attitude formation are heavily affected by the nature of the meanings, the frame of reference, the predispositions that individuals bring to a situation."

2. does anyone want to rent their symbolic logic/astronomy texts out to me?
